Roger J. Bennett
Roger J. Bennett is one of the founders and the senior partner of Bennett & Heyman, P.A. Born in New York, NY in September 1943, he went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University, College of Business Administration in 1965 and received his law degree in 1968 from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Bennett was admitted to the Maryland State Bar in 1968.
He joined the firm Dickerson, Nice & Sokol in 1968 and went on to become one of Maryland’s leading personal injury attorneys, establishing his firm’s stellar reputation in personal injury litigation, particularly medical malpractice. Today, the original firm continues as Bennett & Heyman, P.A., with principals Roger J. Bennett and Frederic C. Heyman.
Roger key practice areas include medical malpractice, products liability and catastrophic personal injury. He has been named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers, the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Club, and has been AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell as the Highest Possible Peer Review rating in Legal Ability and Ethical Standards for the past 25 years.
